Clōna, LLC ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it through our compliance with this Privacy Policy. This policy describes the categories of information we collect from you when you use the Aviñu mobile application (the "App"), how we process it, and your rights regarding your data, designed to comply with applicable laws including the Oregon Consumer Privacy Act (OCPA).

1. Information We Collect

We collect specific categories of personal and usage data to provide our services:

  • Account & Contact Data: Name, email address, and secure authentication credentials required for account creation and management.
  • User-Generated Content: Data you actively input, including your wine inventory, tasting notes, ratings, and photographs of wine labels.
  • Device & Usage Data: Automatically collected telemetry, including device model, operating system version, app interaction metrics, and crash logs.

2. How We Use Your Information

We process your data for the following essential business purposes:

  • To operate, maintain, and improve the App's core functionality, including AI-driven wine label recognition and inventory management.
  • To process images through secure third-party AI interfaces to return accurate wine cataloging data.
  • To manage your account, fulfill customer support requests, and process in-app data deletion commands.
  • To send administrative notices regarding security alerts, policy updates, or account status.

3. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We only share specific categories of data with the following types of third parties under strict confidentiality agreements:

  • Cloud Hosting Providers: To store your account details and inventory securely.
  • AI & Machine Learning Processors: To analyze uploaded wine labels (images are processed temporarily and not used to train external public models without consent).
  • Legal Authorities: If required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Clōna, LLC, our users, or others.

4. Data Retention and Deletion Rights

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. Account Deletion: You may permanently delete your account and all associated inventory data at any time directly within the App by navigating to [Settings > Account > Delete Account]. Upon executing this action, your data will be purged from our active databases.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard encryption and security protocols designed to protect your personal information. However, no digital transmission is entirely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
